Soundwide, a Leading Developer of Hardware and Software Tools for Music Creation and Production, Welcomes Anja Liliendahl Stapelfeld as Chief People Officer
London, England — February 22, 2023 Renovata & Company is pleased to announce the placement of Anja Liliendahl Stapelfeld as chief people officer of Soundwide, a music production platform that enables users to make music without access to expensive hardware and facilities.
Owned by Francisco Partners, Soundwide has acquired numerous brands and is developing the platform, both organically and via acquisition. Brands acquired in 2021 include industry leaders Native Instruments, iZotope and PABX. These brands were founded between 1996 and 2011 and have well-established user bases. Today, Soundwide has a team of more than 650 people and over 7M users globally.
Moving forward, Soundwide plans to drive strong growth in a number of different ways—including increasing its product footprint through M&A, accelerating organic growth, increasing subscriptions, and delivering more tools and a better user experience. The Soundwide leadership team is working to build a cohesive culture and operating environment to take advantage of this market opportunity and deliver to its investors and customers. As chief people officer, Stapelfeld will play an important role during this growth journey.

Prior to joining Soundwide, Stapelfeld was chief people officer at LeanIX, a software-development company. Before that, she was chief people officer at another software-development company—PatSnap. She spent more than five years as vice president of global human resources at Sitecore. She has held HR leadership roles at CA Technologies, GSK, StepStone and IC Group A/S. Earlier in her career, she worked at Spies in sales and marketing.
