GoCardless, a Global Fintech in Recurring Payments, Welcomes Alexandra Chiaramonti as General Manager of Southern Europe
London, England — August 12, 2021 Renovata & Company is pleased to announce the placement of Alexandra Chiaramonti as general manager of Southern Europe for GoCardless, a global payments network and technology platform facilitating recurring payments. She is focused on strengthening and accelerating the company’s presence in its existing French market—where it has tripled its customer base since 2018—and leading the company’s expansion in the region.

GoCardless, backed by Bain Capital Ventures, currently has about 500 employees and is planning to expand to 700 employees by the end of this calendar year to accelerate its open-banking strategy. By combining open-banking payments with its global bank debit network, GoCardless can help companies collect one-off and recurring payments through a single platform. This offers merchants a fast, reliable and low-cost alternative to cards by harnessing the power of account-to-account payments. Today, GoCardless partners with more than 150 billing and subscription software partners globally, including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Zuora, Junifer and Salesforce.

Prior to this, she held roles as director of global sales strategy at Criteo and managing director at Teemo. Earlier in her career she worked in sales at Yahoo!
