Markus Wesel as Chief Financial Officer

Founded in 2005 and now backed by EMH, Cleverbridge has more than 300 employees located around the world and handles more than 1.5M monthly transactions. The company provides global billing solutions for digital goods, online services, and SaaS companies in B2C and B2B markets—to millions of customers via billions of transactions. Its cloud-based platform offers AI-enabled automation to simplify recurring billing, optimize the customer experience, and provide comprehensive global compliance and payment capabilities.

Before joining Cleverbridge, Wesel was chief financial officer at CENIT, a software and IT consulting company. He has held senior executive positions at several high-performing tech companies. Wesel launched his career as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has also been an associate professor and lecturer at several well-known German institutions.
