San Francisco, CA — November 29, 2022 Renovata & Company is pleased to announce the placement of Brent Dobsch as chief financial officer of @properties, one of the nation’s largest, fastest-growing residential real estate firms.
Launched in 2000, @properties and its brands have more than 4,000 agents in more than 75 company-owned and affiliate offices. @properties is the largest independent real estate brokerage firm in Illinois and eighth-largest independent real estate brokerage firm in the U.S. The company also operates a luxury-focused brokerage in Georgia, called Ansley Atlanta, and has acquired Christie’s International Real Estate, a residential real estate firm offering services through a network of nearly 100 affiliate brokerages around the world.
Backed by Quad-C Management, @properties has achieved approximately $20B in sales volume, and is continuing to grow and scale in North America and Europe. During the past decade, @properties developed a proprietary suite of integrated technology applications called pl@tform, which includes marketing, transaction-management and client-relationship management systems. The company also launched a nationwide franchise that partners with independent brokerages nationwide and offers them @properties technology, marketing, training and coaching.

Prior to joining @properties, Dobsch served as chief financial officer for technology businesses, including Kinetiq, 4C Insights and Champion Healthcare Technologies—all backed by Jump Capital. He has also served as chief financial officer for Rasmussen College, a $300M for-profit private university with more than 1,000 employees; UL Environment, which has a $750M revenue division and more than 10,000 employees; and SIRVA’s $1.4B moving services division with more than 1,000 dispersed agents. Earlier in his career, Dobsch was vice president of finance at Information Resources (IRI) and a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
