QIMA, a Leading Global Quality Control and Compliance Service Provider, Welcomes Dan Teodosiu as Board Advisor
London, England — November 1, 2022 Renovata is pleased to announce the placement of Dan Teodosiu as board advisor for QIMA, a leading global quality control and compliance service provider. QIMA provides on-the-ground experts for quality inspections, supplier audits, certification and lab testing. In addition, the company offers a digital platform that brings accuracy, visibility, and intelligence to quality and compliance data.
Founded in Hong Kong under the name AsiaInspection, QIMA now employs more than 4,000 employees in over 40 offices and labs—and operates in 95 countries. The company helps more than 17,000 global brands, retailers, manufacturers and food growers achieve quality excellence.
QIMA has played a key role in digitizing the testing, inspection and certification industry by taking it online. The company has invested heavily in its tech teams in Asia, Europe and the Americas, building applications that allow clients to quickly and easily manage their quality and compliance data. In 2020, QIMA introduced QIMAone, an open software platform built by quality and compliance experts that empowers brands, retailers, and manufacturers with real-time collaboration and actionable data for quality and compliance management.

As chief technology officer of Criteo, he led the company’s transformation and scale to $2.5B of annualized revenue.”
Prior to joining QIMA, Teodosiu was chief technology officer for Onfido, a digital identity verification company. During his time at Onfido, he was also a board member and technical advisor. Before that, Teodosiu held leadership positions at Criteo, including chief technology officer and, previously, executive vice president of engineering. Other leadership roles were engineering director at Google; vice president of engineering at VirtuOz; and director, global product development– Europe for Microsoft. Earlier in his career he was a senior scientist at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories.
