The role

As SVP Engineering & Technology, Marc leads yoummday’s global engineering function, with accountability for platform architecture, engineering delivery, technical strategy, and the build-out of an organisation capable of scaling to meet the demands of international expansion and accelerating AI investment.

This is a high-impact senior technology leadership appointment at the heart of the business. Marc works closely with co-founder and CEO Klaus Harisch, and the broader executive team, to translate a technology-centric growth strategy into concrete product delivery — driving the engineering culture, operational rigour, and talent density required to compete and win in a rapidly evolving market.

Exceptional leader in the role

Marc is an accomplished technology executive with a track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering organisations within venture-backed, growth-stage technology businesses. He joins yoummday from KONUX, the AI-driven industrial IoT company, where he spent nearly seven years in progressively senior roles — serving as Chief Architect before stepping up as Interim CTO in late 2023 and assuming the full CTO role in May 2024.

At KONUX, Marc had end-to-end accountability for technology and engineering: defining architecture, leading AI and ML capability development, scaling the team, and driving platform transformation in a complex, internationally distributed business. His experience spans the full growth lifecycle — from laying technical foundations to leading organisations through investor-backed scaling and transformation.

Prior to KONUX, Marc served as Vice President of Product Development and later Solution Architect & Technical Principal at ifap Service-Institut für Ärzte und Apotheker, where he led technology and product development for a specialist healthcare information platform over more than four years. This grounded him in the rigour and reliability standards demanded by mission-critical software environments.

Marc brings the combination that scaling technology businesses most need in a senior engineering leader: architectural depth, genuine people leadership, strategic fluency, and the drive to deliver at pace without sacrificing quality.
