Renovata has placed an experienced revenue leader at Europe’s leading treasury and cash management SaaS platform — connecting a business at a critical stage of international expansion with a CRO who has the track record to accelerate it. London / Helsinki – June 2026 – Renovata is pleased to announce the senior commercial appointment of Sophie Chevallier as Chief Revenue Officer at Nomentia, Europe’s leading treasury and cash management SaaS platform. Sophie joins Nomentia at a pivotal moment in its European expansion, bringing more than 20 years of revenue leadership experience across treasury, payments, financial technology, and enterprise software.
About Nomentia
Nomentia is the leading treasury and cash management SaaS platform in Europe, trusted by finance teams across the continent to manage liquidity, payments, and cash visibility at scale. Built for complexity and designed for clarity, the platform serves organisations that require rigorous, reliable treasury infrastructure — from mid-market businesses to large corporates operating across multiple jurisdictions and currencies. Under the leadership of CEO Alexander von Schirmeister, Nomentia is executing an ambitious growth strategy — expanding its European footprint, deepening product capability, and positioning itself as the definitive treasury intelligence platform for the modern CFO.
The role
As Chief Revenue Officer, Sophie has full accountability for Nomentia’s global revenue function — spanning sales, account management, marketing, pre-sales, customer success, and revenue operations. She joins at a moment when the business is scaling internationally and requires the commercial architecture, team leadership, and go-to-market rigour to match its product ambition. Working closely with Alexander von Schirmeister and the broader executive team, Sophie will lead the design and execution of a revenue strategy built for durable growth — aligning customer acquisition, retention, and expansion into a single, performance-driven motion.
Sophie Chevallier
Sophie is an accomplished revenue leader with a 20-year track record of building and scaling go-to-market organisations within high-growth B2B software businesses. Her appointment marks a return to the treasury and payments sector — the industry in which she began her commercial career, holding roles focused on treasury, payments, and receivables solutions across Europe. Most recently, Sophie served as CRO at Qmatic, where she led a complete go-to-market transformation — doubling ARR in two years through an ARR-focused strategy and the deliberate alignment of sales, channel, marketing, customer success, pre-sales, and revenue operations. The results were the product of structural change, not short-term optimisation. Prior to Qmatic, Sophie was CRO at Trace One, where she led a global revenue organisation of 65–100 professionals across sales, account management, marketing, pre-sales, professional services, and customer success. During her tenure, she led the revenue due diligence and acquisition integration activities relating to Selerant, helping scale the combined platform to more than €50m ARR. This experience gave Sophie rare exposure to both organic growth leadership and the commercial complexity of M&A — a combination that is increasingly valuable in PE-backed and consolidating software markets. Sophie’s experience spans the full revenue lifecycle: entering new markets, rebuilding underperforming go-to-market functions, scaling through acquisition, and retaining and growing a sophisticated enterprise customer base. She brings the strategic range and operational discipline that a business at Nomentia’s stage of international expansion demands.
“I started my career selling treasury and payment software. Somehow, the treasury and payment world never really let me go. A few days in, I’m already blown away by the talent, the product depth, and the ambition in this organisation.” — Sophie Chevallier, Chief Revenue Officer, Nomentia
Renovata’s perspective
This C-suite and senior leadership appointment reflects the kind of mandate Renovata is built for: a high-stakes commercial leadership search at a business operating at an inflexion point, where the quality of the hire directly shapes the growth trajectory. Identifying the right CRO for a scaling SaaS business requires more than a strong revenue CV. It demands an executive who can diagnose a go-to-market model quickly, build or rebuild teams under performance pressure, and operate as a genuine strategic partner to the CEO and board. Domain credibility matters too — in treasury and cash management, where buyer cycles are long and stakeholder seniority is high, a CRO who understands the product environment from the customer’s perspective is materially more effective. Sophie brings all of this. Her track record of doubling ARR at Qmatic, scaling to €50m ARR at Trace One through acquisition as well as organic growth, and her grounding in the treasury and payments market makes her an exceptional fit for this role and this business. This appointment is further evidence of Renovata’s ability to identify and place exceptional C-suite and senior leaders across the European and global technology and software ecosystem — connecting high-growth, venture and private equity-backed businesses with the commercial talent that drives lasting value creation.
Revenue leadership is your highest-leverage growth decision
At a scaling software business, the CRO appointment is one of the most consequential decisions on the executive team. Getting it right compresses the path to ARR milestones, tightens the go-to-market model, and builds the commercial architecture that holds up under investor scrutiny. Getting it wrong costs time, capital, and competitive ground that is hard to recover. Renovata partners with PE sponsors, portfolio boards, and founder-led businesses at these precise moments — bringing the network, process discipline, and market insight to identify and secure exceptional commercial leaders that internal teams cannot always reach on their own.
The right leader accelerates your thesis. The wrong one costs you time you don’t have.
Renovata works with PE sponsors, portfolio boards, and operating partners to place the C-suite and senior commercial talent that drives performance and holds up in a sale process. If you have a leadership gap that needs closing, start a conversation with our team.
