London, England — December 8, 2023 Renovata is pleased to announce the placement of Chris Potts as chairperson of proSapient, a global research and expert networking service for institutional investors, consultants and corporate clients.
Backed by 24Haymarket and Smedvig Capital, proSapient was founded in 2017 and has approximately 300 full-time employees. The company is headquartered in London and has offices in Raleigh, Toronto, Lisbon, London and Kyiv.
proSapient provides comprehensive research and networking services to its clients around the world. The company’s advantage is the speed and accuracy by which it delivers actionable intelligence and relevant experts to its customers, giving them the required edge to achieve their commercial ambitions. proSapient technology is powered by artificial intelligence (AI), which differentiates the company from other providers of market information.
“Chris is an experienced chairperson, chief executive and non-executive director,” says Renovata principal. “He has led the long-term development of international technology businesses, served as chief financial officer of several successful companies, and acted as chairperson for two technology-based business, including an AIM-listed company.”
Potts has realized more than £200M of value for shareholders and raised debt and equity finance for businesses. He is currently a chairperson at Zytronic, which develops and manufactures interactive touch sensor overlay products for electrical displays. He is a university council member and trustee for the American University in Bulgaria; a chairperson for Guralp Group; and a non-executive director at the Moller Institute. He has held a number of executive roles at many companies, including Rule Financial Group, The 3i Infotech Ltd., Finastra, Citria Limited and Mastercard.
