San Francisco, CA — November 4, 2021 Renovata & Company is pleased to announce the placement of Ian McLeod as chief product officer of Single Digits, a leading provider of technology and managed services for multi dwelling units (MDUs) such as condominiums, nursing homes, hotels and other hospitality businesses.
Single Digits (“SDI”) is backed and owned by GI Partners, an upper-middle-market private equity sponsor with more than $20B assets under management (AUM) and expertise in tech-enabled data services. SDI offers a complete guest internet solution centered around security and IP network provision for WiFi. In 2020, the business launched PlatformONE, an integrated wireless connectivity software platform that offers 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi Certified Passpoint and next-generation IoT.
The company currently serves more than 5,700 customers globally, comprised of nearly 1M rooms, across multiple industries—including hospitality, student housing, multi-family, senior living, transportation, retail, and federal and municipal government facilities.

Before joining Single Digits, McLeod was chief product officer at Veracode. Prior to that, he was chief product officer and senior vice president of engineering for Rogue Wave Software. McLeod worked as chief product officer and executive vice president of business operations at SmartBear Software, as vice president at PHT Corporation and Borland Software, and as senior vice president at Segue Software. Earlier in his career he was director of engineering for Rational Software/IBM, and he held various technical and management positions at General Electric.
